Cooperative Research Program on the Swimming Abilities of Native Stream Fishes in the Northern Rockies-Upper Great Plains Regions of Montana: The tasks to be performed under this agreement are as follows:a. share in the responsibilities for determining and assessing the direction of the overall research program through frequent communication and coordination with project cooperators to ensure that project requirements are met;b. provide scientific expertise in projects to assess and apply the swimming abilities of native fishes and be directly involved in planning, experiment design, implementation, and sampling of the collaborative research projects, compilation and analysis of data, and interpretation and dissemination of results;c. provide staff time for conducting the fish-swimming experiments and any necessary laboratory analyses;d. provide office space and supplies and computers for data compilation and analyses (including analysis of fish swimming video) and for writing of reports and publications;e. provide staff time for consultations on experimental design and statistical analyses; and f. participate in writing progress, draft final, and final project reports and publications for scientific peer-reviewed journals.
