Cranberry: Urinary Tract Infection and Other Conditions: The purpose of this initiative is to support basic and clinical research on the role of cranberry (Vaccinium macrocarpon) in the prevention and treatment of urinary tract infections (UTI), other infections, and other conditions for which there is credible evidence of efficacy. For clinical trials, preference will be given to those that also test mechanistic hypotheses.
