Create Thematic Web Exhibits Highlighting Civil Rights Movement using NCR Museum Collections: This project will expand visitor and public access to the National Capital Region (NCR) museum collections and support park interpretive programs by creating thematic web exhibits highlighting the Civil Rights Movement associated museum objects from NCR museum collections. These web themes will use the NCR Civil Rights Thematic Framework and existing park interpretive themes as a basis for the web exhibits. The Web Catalog in ICMS allows parks to make selected data and images available to the general public, scholars, educators, and researchers around the world, thus providing a venue for very broad visitor and public access. Data fields will be standardized and images will be added to each catalog record in ICMS to ensure that updated and accurate data are available to the public and visitors.
