Criminal Law and Anti-Corruption Reform in the Kyrgyz Republic: Provides support in the form of technical expertise to the Kyrgyz defense bar that meets the following objectives: Citizens are educated about jury trials and their role in the trial process as a keystone for success when jury trials are introduced in 2015; Trained advocates, prosecutors, judges, and court administrators are able to implement jury trials; Defense attorneys have a thorough understanding of anti-corruption law and practice; A cadre of anti-corruption experts is developed.
