Cultural Programming in Balkh Province: The Public Affairs Section (PAS) of the U.S. Embassy in Kabul, Afghanistan, invites all eligible organizations (see Section IV for Eligibility Requirements) to submit a proposal for a Cooperative Agreement to design, organize and implement cultural programming in Mazar-e Sharif and other parts of Balkh province over the course of one year, in close cooperation with the U.S. Consulate in Mazar-e Sharif. The programs will engage the general public and important target audiences by addressing a series of issues that are priorities for the United States government (USG) and the Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan (GIROA). A successful proposal will address all the requirements outlined in this Request for Grant Proposals (RFGP), demonstrate the organizations professional experience in conducting similar projects in Balkh Province, and the ability to meet the goals and objectives outlined in the RFGP.
