Grant Description
-The National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD) invites applications from investigators willing to participate with the NICHD under a cooperative agreement as the Data Coordinating Center (DCC) in an ongoing multi-center clinical program designed to investigate problems in neonatal medicine, particularly those related to low birth weight, prematurity, and common neonatal medical problems. -The NICHD intends to commit approximately $3 million in total costs [Direct plus Facilities and Administrative (F and A) costs] in FY 2008 to fund one new or competing renewal grant in response to this RFA. -An applicant may request a project period of up to five years and a budget for $1.8 to $2.2 million direct costs and total costs up to $3 million per year.
