Grant Description
DPA Title III High Performance Thermal Battery Project. The DPA, Title III Program Office, Air Force Research Laboratory, Manufacturing Technology Division (AFRL/RXM) is seeking to improve both the technical capabilities and the business viability of a domestic CoS2 thermal battery supplier to the DoD. The United States Government (USG) is seeking to ensure that a domestic source of CoS2 thermal batteries continues to be accessible for meeting the requirements of both the current and the next generation of smart missiles and bombs.
