Denali 100: Stories of the People: The objective of this Agreement is to partner with StoryCorps to complete an oral history project in correlation with the Denali National Park and Preserves (DENA) Centennial Celebration (1917-2017). StoryCorps will conduct recording sessions of oral histories at DENA (the ⿿Onsite Interviews⿝) that feature current/former NPS employees sharing their experiences and memories of DENA. The interviews will include conversations between two or three people, and may capture milestones such as a naturalization ceremony, a dignitary⿿s visit, or similar special event, or perhaps just a frozen moment of witnessing natural splendor. The project explores people⿿s motivations for working for or visiting DENA, and demonstrates the uniqueness and importance of this park.
