Development of Appropriate Pediatric Formulations and Drug Delivery Systems STTR (R41): The Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD) and participating Institutes within the National Institutes of Health (NIH) encourage grant applications to address different and complementary research needs for the development appropriate pediatric drug formulations in different age groups. This FOA also encourages the development and testing of novel drug delivery systems in the pediatric population. The goal of this FOA is not to duplicate or compete with the private sector but to complement and accelerate the development of appropriate pediatric drugs formulations and drug delivery systems.
