- CDC?s Procurement and Grants Office has published a program announcement entitled, ?Development of Influenza Surveillance Networks?. Approximately $1,000,000 will be available in fiscal year 2004 to fund five to ten awards. The purpose of the program is to provide support and assistance to foreign governments for the development or improvement of influenza surveillance networks. These networks will focus on the systematic collection of virological and epidemiological information for influenza.
