Development of an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for Proposed OCS Lease Sale 214: Minerals Management Service is offering a cooperative agreement opportunity to facilitate participation by the Aleutians East Borough government, a political subdivision of the State of Alaska, as a cooperating agency in the development of an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for Proposed OCS Oil and Gas Lease Sale 214. Participation in preparation of the EIS allows the borough government to be more effective in carrying out its land use planning and permitting, economic development and other functions under Alaska statutes.
