Office of Special Education and Rehabilitative Services; National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research (NIDRR)--Disability and Rehabilitation Research Projects and Centers Program--Rehabilitation Engineering Research Centers (RERCs)--Rehabilitation Robotics and Telemanipulation Systems; Notice Inviting Applications for New Awards for Fiscal Year (FY) 2007. Purpose of Program: The purpose of the RERC program is to improve the effectiveness of services authorized under the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended. For FY 2007, the competition for a new award focuses on projects designed to meet the priority we describe in the Priority section of this notice.
