Drought Resiliency Project Grants for Fiscal Year 2016: The objective of this FOA is to invite States, tribes, irrigation districts, water districts, and other organizations with water or power delivery authority to leverage their money and resources by cost sharing with Reclamation on Drought Resiliency Projects that will increase the reliability of water supply; improve water management; implement systems to facilitate the voluntary sale, transfer, or exchange of water; and provide benefits for fish, wildlife, and the environment to mitigate impacts caused by drought. Drought Resiliency Project Grants support implementation of the President’s June 2013 Climate Action Plan and Reclamation’s Climate Change Adaptation Strategy (Climate Strategy), available at www.usbr.gov/climate/docs/ClimateChangeAdaptationStrategy.pdf.
