EAR Education and Human Resources: The Division of Earth Sciences' Education and Human Resources Program (EH) facilitates highly innovative educational activities in the earth sciences, including efforts to increase the diversity of participants and involve leading researchers in education. Activities at all levels are supported, including: 1) graduate and postdoctoral education outside the framework of normal NSF research grants; 2) undergraduate education, including the NSF-wide Research Experiences for Undergraduates Program; and 3) education activities at the K-12 level both inside and outside the classroom.
