Easement Monitoring and Wetland Restoration Implementation for Georgia ACEP-WRE: Funding Opportunity Announcement Summary The Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) in Georgia is requesting applications to provide 2 technical services. Applicant can submit an application on one service, or both services. There is no requirement for an application to include both. Easement Monitoring: Provide easement monitoring services for all stewardship lands in conservation easements by NRCS in Georgia. This would include all programs: Wetlands Reserve Program (WRP), Grasslands Reserve Program (GRP), Farm and Ranchland Protection Program (FRPP), Agricultural Conservation Easement Program – Wetlands Reserve Easement (ACEP-WRE), Healthy Forest Reserve Program (HFRP), Regional Conservation Partnership Program (RCPP) easements, and others. a. There are 2 types of monitoring activities: Onsite and Offsite. b. At the time of this listing NRCS GA has 192 easements that need monitoring every year. OR Restoration Implementation: Implementation of restoration activities on eligible Agricultural Conservation Easement Program-Wetland Reserve Easement (ACEP-WRE.) At the time of this listing, NRCS GA has 24 properties in need of restoration implementation.
