Education Models of Four Significant Truss Designs in Wooden Truss Evolution: Burr, Town, Long, and Howe.: Assist in the preparation of engineering evaluation, analysis and assessment of engineering structures and industrial sites, to HABS/HAER/HALS standards, for transmittal to the Library of Congress and inclusion in the HABS/HAER/HALS Collection.
2. Educate engineers, historians, architects, cultural resource managers and the general public in the fields of engineering history, history of technology, and industrial archaeology through the degree-granting capacity of Johns Hopkins University.
