Education Science Technology Engineering and Math (STEM) and Outreach Program - DAAV: This announcement is not a request for applications. This announcement is to provide public notice of the National Park Service's intention to award financial assistance for the following project activities with the National Aviation Heritage Alliance.(NAHA)and will provide support at the Experimental Aircraft Association's AirVenture in an effort to educate the public on various elements of aviation and aviation heritage. In addition, STEM programing will be provided on the grounds at either the National Park Service Exhibit, Youth Aviation Center, or KidsVenture. NAHA will responsible for the following (1) Lead the program for Dayton Aviation Heritage National Historical Park and document the activities; (2) Engage the appropriate volunteers to undertake the work; (3) Work with the NPS to develop an exhibit plan that includes ranger lead programming; (4) Ensure that all safety measures and policies are followed (5) Promote the activities; (6) Participate in advance planning that include partnership sites and stakeholders; (7) Complete an After-Action-Review. Education & outreach in support of the NPS and park mission that commemorates important historical figures such as — Wilbur Wright, and Orville Wright; and their work in the Miami Valley Region. The public will gain a better appreciation of our aviation heritage as well as inspiring youth to seek out aviation opportunities from a historical STEM prospective.
