Educational Outreach Program: The purpose of this research announcement is to receive proposals for the development of a demonstration program utilizing state of the art wireless technology to (a) support K-12 educational initiatives for the development of professional development curriculum to prepare teachers to lead their students in inquiry based learning and the use of advanced technology; (b) develop student curricula utilizing project based learning and advanced technology which supports requirements for science and technology education developed by the Hawaii Department of Education and (c) use emerging technologies to assist students in developing new skills for application in the digital economy in support of the Office of Naval Researchs mission of scientific outreach and education in working to develop the next generation of scientists capable to support the continued development of critical technologies in support of the Department of Defense.
