Effects of light level and surface roughness on the passage success of plains fishes in rock ramp fishways: Fishery biologists from Colorado State University have been working on providing technical advances in fishway design for many years. They have a well designed laboratory to investigate questions related to fish movement under controlled circumstances such as light, movement and substrate. Colorado State University is uniquely qualified to accomplish the goals of this project.
