FY06 EMPG is designed to assist States and Urban Areas achieve the target levels of capability in support of the National Preparedness Goal to sustain and enhance the effectiveness of their emergency management program. * The URL address displayed in "link to full announcement" (disregard the "apply electronically" option) will take you to the web site used by ODP to post program announcements. The Office for Domestic Preparedness (ODP) was transferred to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) from the Department of Justice (DOJ).
