Endangered Species Conservation Recovery Implementation Funds: This is an announcement for issuing a single source financial assistance award to the Wetlands Institute for a period of three years. This announcement is for notification purposes only.
The funding opportunity (CFDA 15.657, Endangered Species Conservation Recovery Implementation Funds) will provide federal financial assistance to secure endangered or threatened species information, undertake restoration actions that will lead to delisting of a species; help prevent extinction of a species, or aid in the recovery of species. This award is made under the authority of Endangered Species Act of 1973, 16 U.S.C. 1541-1543. Specifically at Cape May National Wildlife Refuge, the Piping Plover Atlantic Coast Population Recovery Plan and Cape May National Wildlife Refuge Comprehensive Conservation Plan will be implemented through interpretation of refuge management, threatened and endangered species and shorebird conservation by interpreters to visitors at the refuges Two Mile Beach Unit seasonal beach closure boundaries.
