- The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service's Endangered Species Great Lakes Restoration Initiative Grants Program provides grants and other assistance on a competitive basis to those individuals, groups, and government agencies engaged in voluntary conservation efforts to benefit species listed or proposed as endangered or threatened under the Endangered Species Act of 1973, as amended, candidate species, or other at-risk species within the Great Lakes Watershed of the United States. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is soliciting project proposals for Federal assistance under the Endangered Species Great Lakes Restoration Initiative. The Request for Proposals document describes how you can apply for funding under the Endangered Species Great Lakes Restoration Initiative and how we will determine which project proposals will be funded.
