Environmental Education, Outreach and New Techniques of Diverse Audience: San Diego Audubon will offer nine four-week ⿿OutdoorExplore⿝ environmental education programs and two ⿿OutdoorExplore Family Hikes⿝ (for a total of thirty-eight program days) to San Diego County elementary and middle school students, providing approximately 1,200 visits to nearby nature spaces. OutdoorExplore! is an after-school enrichment program that introduces students to natural spaces in their local communities and inspires them to develop a stewardship ethic for their neighborhood⿿s natural environment.
