Eligible applicants include Native American Tribal governments (Federally recognized); Native American Tribal organizations (other than Federally recognized Tribal governments); Federally Recognized Indian Tribes; incorporated non-Federally recognized and State-recognized Indian Tribes; Alaska Native Villages, as defined in the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act (ANSCA) and/or non-profit Village consortia; non-profit Alaska Native Regional Corporations/Associations with Village-specific projects; non-profit Native organizations in Alaska with Village-specific projects; other Tribal or Village organizations or consortia of Indian Tribes; and Tribal governing bodies (Indian Reorganization Act or Traditional Councils) as recognized by the Bureau of Indian Affairs. Foreign entities are not eligible under this announcement.
