Evaluation of Wheel/Rail Contact Mechanics (Phase II): In phase ii of this project, based on the results from the phase I, a scaled model of the roller rig will be designed and fabricated. The roller rig can be used to study the wheel /rail contact conditions and provide the means for measuring parameters needed for wheel/rail modelling.
