In addition, the awardee is required to meet the following requirements: This funding opportunity announcement is limited to indigenous organizations located in the Republic of Cote d'Ivoire. An "indigenous organization" is any entity whose headquarters is in Cote dIvoire. As such, the majority of the entitys staff (senior, mid-level, support) must be comprised of host-country and/or regional nationals. "Indigenous organizations" refers to both governmental and non-governmental, (non-government, faith-based, and community-based) organizations. Organizations brought into existence to respond to the Announcement are ineligible. Institutional capacity-building of indigenous organizations is a key strategy for achieving the prevention, care and treatment goals of the Emergency Plan and to ensure the long-term sustainability of Emergency Plan Programs.
