Exposure to Tremolite Asbestos in Vermiculite Ore: PA04020 Summary FedBizOpps/Sec Forecast CDC?s Procurement and Grants Office has published a program announcement entitled, ?Exposure to Tremolite Asbestos in Vermiculite Ore Site-Specific Health Activities.? Approximately $550,000 is available to fund four awards to health departments of States or their bona fide agents or instrumentalities, including State universities, and political subdivisions of States. The purpose of the program is to conduct site-specific health activities related to human exposure to contaminated vermiculite ore at sites identified by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) as receiving and/or processing ore from the mine in Libby, Montana.
