FY 13 Endangered Species Great Lakes Restoration Initiative: The Endangered Species Great Lakes Restoration Initiative Grants Program (GLRI-ES) provides grants and other assistance on a competitive basis to those individuals, groups, and government agencies engaged in voluntary conservation efforts to benefit species listed or proposed as endangered or threatened under the Endangered Species Act of 1973, as amended (Act), candidate species, or other at-risk species within the Great Lakes Watershed of the United States.

In order to receive funding, projects will need to ensure that landowners are willing to allow the Service access to the project area in order to check on its progress when necessary.
