FY 2004 BJS Census of State and Local Law Enforcement Agencies: The purpose of this award is to provide funding to administer the 2004 Census of State and Local Law Enforcement Agencies. The census will obtain information about law enforcement agency functions and personnel in the United States. The census data collection instrument and respondent list (approximately 17,000 agencies) will be provided by BJS. BJS anticipates making one award for up to a 12-month period under this solicitation.
