- Grant Description
- Through the USAID/DCHA Framework for Sudan, USAID/OFDA has identified programmatic priorities for Fiscal Year 2007 (October 1, 2006-September 30, 2007) to meet the immediate humanitarian needs of conflict- and natural disaster-affected populations, with an emphasis on individuals displaced by the conflict and the provision of basic services in underserved areas. USAID/OFDA anticipates dynamic conditions in FY2007, such as population movements, and expects its implementing partners to prepare and respond accordingly. In Sudan, excluding Darfur, USAID/OFDA will seek to fulfill its mandate through the provision of emergency health and nutrition services; improved access to water and sanitation; sustainable food security; enhanced income-generation opportunities; and the provision of relief commodities.
