Grant Description: The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is soliciting proposals from eligible applicants to provide training workshop support activities for the State Revolving Fund (SRF) programs, the Clean Water SRF program and the Drinking Water SRF program. The training workshop support will include planning, preparing, and providing technical support for four annual National SRF Infrastructure Financing and Training Workshops. Funds awarded under this announcement may be used by recipients to promote participation and to support the travel expenses of non-Federal personnel to attend the workshops. The statutory authority for this announcement is Section 104(b)(3) of the Clean Water Act (CWA). This section of the CWA restricts the use of these assistance agreements to the following: conducting or promoting the coordination and acceleration of research, investigations, experiments, training, demonstrations, surveys, and studies relating to the causes, effects (including health and welfare effects), extent, prevention, reduction, and elimination of water pollution. Implementation projects are not eligible for funding under this announcement.
