FY 2017 Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange Program: The primary objective of the FY 2017 Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange Program is to encourage American and German youth to learn about each other'€™s society and culture through educational exchange while promoting American-German friendship based on the common value of democracy. In addition, the program seeks to promote the participants'€™ roles as young ambassadors with influence on future American-German relations, and to promote and strengthen linkages between members of Congress and their Bundestag counterparts. The program provides a scholarship for an academic year experience of living and studying in the host country.
