FY16 Countermeasures to Reduce Suicides on Railroad Rights of Way: The objectives of the research to be undertaken with this grant are to coordinate with a group of international experts in railway suicides, the Global Railway Alliance for Suicide Prevention (GRASP), to provide information regarding issues associated with suicide on railroad rights-of-way. Additionally, the Grantee will support evaluations of: the GRASP working group, implementation(s) of industry Critical Incident Stress Plans, and community-based interventions for railroad-related suicide prevention.
