FY16 Supplemental ttto Birmingham-Montgomery-Mobile Intercity Passenger Rail Feasibility Study: This amendment adds $80,875 in Federal funds, as well as $80,875 in matching funds, to FR-IPR-0070. FRA originally made a $200,000 HSIPR award to the Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs (ADECA), but the funds required a 50% match and ADECA was able to secure only $100,000 in matching funds. ADECA and FRA agreed to separate the project into two phases and initially fund only phase 1. ADECA completed phase 1 and has now secured sufficient additional matching funds to complete phase 2.
