This MURI competition is open only to U.S. Institutions of higher education, including DoD institutionsof higher education, with degree-granting programs in science and/or engineering. To the extent that it is a part of a U.S. Institution of higher education and is not designated as an FFRDC, a University Affiliated Research Center (UARC) or other University Affiliated Laboratory (UAL) is eligible to submit a proposal to this MURI competition and receive MURI funds.
Grant Description
The MURI program supports basic science and/or engineering research at U.S. institutions of higher education that is of potential interest to DoD. The program is focused on multidisciplinary research efforts that intersect more than one traditional science and engineering discipline to address scientific issues of interest to the DoD.
