Grant Description
CDCs Procurement and Grants Office has published a program announcement entitled, "Family and Dyadic Focused Interventions to Prevent Intimate Partner Violence." $800,000 [this amount is an estimate, and subject to the availability of funds] will be available in fiscal year 2007 to fund approximately two awards. The purpose of the research is to develop, implement, and rigorously test the impact of either a family-based or dyad-based primary prevention strategy on the outcome of physical Intimate Partner Violence (IPV) perpetration and identified mediators with populations at risk for IPV.
