This FOA is restricted to (1) an Indian Tribe; (2) Tribal Energy Resource Development Organization; or (3) Tribal Consortium; and on whose (4) Tribal Lands weatherization services may be provided.
Grant Description
A link to the Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) is found by scrolling to the bottom of this page. This FOA is restricted to (1) an Indian Tribe; (2) Tribal Energy Resource Development Organization; or (3) Tribal Consortium; and on whose (4) Tribal Lands weatherization services may be provided. Through this Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA or Announcement), DOE intends to support Tribes in the establishment of Tribal weatherization programs, building weatherization skills and capabilities, and positioning them to provide weatherization services to their Tribal members and potentially neighboring Tribes. Eligible activities under this Announcement may include, but are not limited to: 1) Technical and administrative weatherization education and training (see http://www.waptac.org/sp.asp?mc=training_facilities for Weatherization Assistance Program Training Facilities for technical positions); and/or 2) Skills development through apprenticeships or on-the-job training at existing weatherization provider organizations (see http://www.waptac.org/sp.asp?mc=what_contacts for State contacts and local providers under the DOE Weatherization Assistance Program). Applications must be submitted through the DOE Industry Interactive Procurement System (IIPS) at http://e-center.doe.gov.
