- Grant Description
- This proposed agreement would fully support collaboration and exchange of technical fisheries and fisheries habitat information. Fisheries scientists throughout America will increase their understanding and knowledge of critical fisheries habitat restoration and preservation techniques as a result of this exchange. This will result in a more effective and efficient fisheries habitat restoration workforce who will improve fisheries habitat throughout the United States, thereby increasing fish populations. This will enhance the public experience on public land as a result of utilization of the fisheries resource through harvest and/or viewing opportunities. The relatively small cost of supporting this activity will result in enormous returns on the public investment and would be fully supported by the public due to the program's efficient use of money to create a great return of a public resource.
