Fox River NRDA: This is a notice of intent to award a single source grant agreement to Oconto County Land Conservation Department without competition under justification 505DM 2.14.B.4 in the approximate amount of $462,000. Restoration criteria are located in the 2003 Joint Restoration Plan and Environmental Assessment for The Lower Fox River and Green Bay Area and the 2016 Restoration Plan Update. Competition for the award is not practical as Oconto County Land Conservation Division has ownership over many of the areas that will be restored; due to their ownership, proximity to the projects, unique knowledge of the site-specific needs of the area and restoration, they are unique to the success of these projects. Oconto County is also pursuing various matching fund opportunities from Ducks Unlimited, NRCS, and others to maximize restoration opportunities.
