Framework for Addressing Culture Resource Vulnerabilities, Phase I: Impacts Analysis: The goal of this cooperative project is to implement an NPS framework to address cultural resource environmental vulnerabilities in the Intermountain Region (IMR). The project will be implemented in three phases corresponding to three distinct scopes: Impacts Analysis, Adaptation Strategies Development, and Scenario Planning. The specific objective of this task agreement is to complete an environmental stress and impacts analysis of cultural resources in national parks of the Intermountain Region based on current data and norms established by the NPS. This regionally scoped project, conducted by a team of natural and cultural resources experts, will produce and disseminate information that can be used by site managers to plan for improved stewardship of vulnerable cultural resources in conjunction with IMR Vanishing Treasures (VT) Program and WASO.
