Grant Description: The purpose of this program is to continue the current HRSA-funded project that is examining the effectiveness and appropriateness of a new type of provider, the FESC, in providing health care services in four remote Alaska sites. Funds awarded under this announcement must be used for the support of established and ongoing activities related to the coordination of FESC efforts throughout Alaska. The cooperative agreements will involve an ongoing partnership with significant involvement and input from ORHP staff in the selection of all projects and in development and implementation of the submitted work plan.
