Future Industrial Needs Discovery FIND Sustainable Development & Community Needs: This Funding Announcement is not a request for applications. This announcement is to provide public notice of the Bureau of Land Management's intention to fund the following project activities without full and open competition. The FIND project was developed by the Northern Nevada Gold Belt Coalition through Lander County's Sustainable Development Committee and has established partnership roles with the Lander Economic Development Authority and the University of Nevada Cooperative Extension Service for Lander County. These partners will contribute funding, manpower and technical expertise to accomplish the inventory of existing mines sites and the their associated infrastructure to determine and facilitate local communities to market secondary industrial post-mining uses of these sites and assure appropriate management and development.
