Future Leaders in Art Conservation Technology: 1. Create a science and technology showcase for art conservators to expose more conservators to scientific methods. The showcase will lead to better conservation of cultural heritage. 2. Create a research opportunity for youth, students, and new professional conservators to be exposed to and undertake research in an art conservation science laboratory. Research opportunities will lead to a new generation of conservators with an understanding of research within the art conservation practice. 3. Disseminate preservation technology information.
