It is suggested that theprocessbe started as soon as possible.Area of Interest 03 - Gas SeparationsNovel, non-cryogenic and non-membrane-based separations of gases found inadvanced coal based power plants are desired. Gases of interest includeoxygenfrom air, and CO2, CO, hydrogen, and H2S in gasifier streams. Gasifiergasesare at moderate to high partial pressures [500 to 1000psi] and attemperaturesof about 300 to 700 degrees F.
