Gaseous Mercury Dry Deposition Method Development: Direct Measurement, Model Development, and Model Validation: The purpose of the RFA is to stimulate the development of state-of-the-art (i) direct dry deposition measurement methods for elemental gaseous mercury (Hg0) and divalent reactive gaseous mercury (RGM), and (ii) dynamic first principal Hg0 and RGM surface specific (e.g., water, forested, agriculture) dry deposition models. It is expected that all dry deposition models will be field validated using new direct dry deposition measurement methods developed under this RFA.
