Ghana Behavior Change Support Project: The Ghana Behavior Change Support Project is intended to foster positive health practices in households and communities and support changes in cultural norms that will reinforce and maintain these practices. The Recipient will provide a range of communications support for the behavior changes needed to improve health in the priority technical areas of reproductive health/maternal and child health, malaria, HIV/AIDS, and water/sanitation and other infectious diseases, maximizing the use of relevant approaches, materials and media products already developed and used successfully in Ghana. To implement the key components of this project, the Recipient will need to work in close partnership with the Government of Ghana, other USAID implementing partners, non-governmental organizations, community and elected leaders, faith-based organizations, and various other local partners.
