Ghana Focus Region Health Project: The Focus Region Health Project is intended to increase access, quality, and use of family planning and maternal, newborn and child health services and improve regional, district and community management and systems in three focus regions. These regions are Greater Accra, Central, and Western. The Recipient will be expected to collaborate with other implementing partners to support the integration of activities from other USAID/Ghana program components when relevant to the focus regions, including malaria prevention and case management, HIV/AIDS prevention, and water and sanitation activities. The Recipient is expected to enable regional and district health teams to engage a range of NGOs, the private sector, and community and elected leaders in a joint effort to support improved health programs and outcomes.
