Grant Soil and Water Conservation District (GSWCD): With this financial assistance, GSWCD will provide the technical and administrative skills required to complete planning and design of ongoing habitat improvement projects in the John Day Sub-basin. Habitat projects are implemented on state and private land on a landowner voluntary basis. GSWCD will coordinate with landowners, provide intermediate and final engineering design, write permit applications, obtain project construction funding, coordinate with federal, state, and tribal agencies for ESA and other regulatory compliance and provide construction observation for these projects.
