- USAID/Guinea is seeking applications from any U.S. and non-U.S. non-governmental, non- profit organizations and U.S. and non-U.S. private firms willing to forgoe profits to implement activities in support of Missions program entitled: "Multi-Sectoral Interventions to Advance Democratic Governance in Guinea. This program will enable USAID-targeted GOG institutions and systems to operate more efficiently and effectively with more transparency and accountability. The total estimated cost for this anticipated APS is approximately $ 23,000,000. It is also anticipated that one Cooperative Agreement ((Substantial Involvement) will be awarded as a result of this APS, but not more than two. The period of performance of this activity is estimated not to exceed 3 years. Important: the use of creative partnerships such as, consortium, multiple institutions (NGOs/PVOs) and local organizations is highly encouraged in order to address the complexity of the program elements. A draft technical Program Description is also being issued along with this synopsis for Questions and Comments, with the formal APS to be issued o/a July 31, 2006.
