HIT Capacity Building Initiative for Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP) Grantee Sites: These awards will support Ryan White Part B grantees in building capacity in their Health Information Technology (HIT) systems to report client level data for recipients of AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP) services. ADAP provides medications for the treatment of HIV disease, and to purchase health insurance for eligible clients and for services that enhance access to, adherence to, and monitoring of drug treatments. The program is funded through Part B of the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Treatment Extension Act of 2009 which provides grants to States and Territories. ADAP grants are awarded to all 50 States, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and the Pacific Jurisdictions.
